April 2010 - Jacques Mitsch won the Best International Popular Science Documentary Award for his film Mind of Plants at the 45th International Festival of Science Documentary; Films Academia Film Olomouc. Some of this film was filmed at the 3rd International Symposium on Plant Neurobiology held in 2007 at Strebske Pleso.
